Gibson Doyle’s hand made Wedding Invitation Site is making it’s mark on the hand made Wedding Invitation Market

Every bride wants her wedding to be unique, so she will go to great lengths to make sure her dress is an original and her style is unique and different,  but what about her wedding invitations?  Brides are continually searching for quality wedding invitations that have an original theme and aren’t generic.

Gibson Doyle are considered one of the best hand made wedding invitations suppliers and many quality bridal shops and wedding invitation sites are keen to to be an affiliate. New wedding invitation sites are entering the market and they seem to be becoming more proliferate but its generally more of the same Gibson Doyle offer handmade wedding invitations with a difference and also you can have a custom made design made personally for you.

While searches for general wedding invitations is still popular with over 200,000 searches per month, Gibson Doyle wedding invitation search terms are quickly gaining speed. The term “hand made wedding invitation” alone has over 2,000 searches per month. The term “Beach wedding invitation” has over 1,000 searches per month. These might not seem like a lot, but when Gibson Doyle only have eight invitations to accommodate these searches its pretty good, brides are craving a quality handmade invitation site with more variety in their specific area. These are just two search terms out of the thousands of niche wedding invitation searches.

It is my recommendation that you order your Wedding Invitations at least four weeks prior to posting them out to your guests, this will allow you plenty of time to receive your Wedding Invitations and double check your order to make sure you have received everything.

Although you will have received and signed off proofs etc you need to make sure no mistakes were made, it will also allow you enough time for extra invites if required. Don't forget you will need plenty of time to address all the envelopes!

Wedding Invitations should be posted so that your guest will receive them at least six to eight weeks prior to your Wedding. This will allow your guest enough time to make travel plans and return the reply card you included with your Wedding Invitation. Ideally the reply by date should be four weeks prior to your wedding date.

You will have many other things to take care of as your wedding approaches and  your wedding invitations should be addressed and posted out as one of your first tasks. There will undoubtedly be last minute names to add and address changes to deal with so please allow yourself plenty of time to accomplish this task.

Wedding Stationery

Everyone knows about wedding invitations, but what about all the other terms and items that are associated with them. Below are explanations of some of the more common terms and items that you’ll probably encounter while shopping for your invitations.

Announcements: For those who you wont invite  to your wedding but you would still like them to know that you are married, you can mail them an announcement card. They are printed on the same paper as your invitation but mailed on your wedding day or immediately after with the wordings stating that your wedding has already taken place.

Reply Cards: These cards are essential to planning for your dinner/reception since an accurate guest attendance count will be needed for food and seating preparations. The reply card along with its posting envelope (can be printed with your address www.gibsondoyle.co.uk) will be inserted with your invitation. Remember to include a postage stamp on this small envelope so all your guests have to do is fill out the card and post it back by the date you have printed on it.

Map Directions: These directions would be included as a convenience for any guests who might not be familiar with the location of the church and/or reception.

Save the date Cards: These cards are perfect to announce your coming wedding without revealing the full details, this way you can forewarn your guests to save your date free for a special ocassions.

Not all of the above items are necessary to make your wedding invitations complete but they will help to keep your guests informed and everything else to run smoothly.  Remember, this is your special day, so it’s your decision as to which ones you would like to include as part of your invitation collection.
